Can I customize recipe cards to match my brand?
Yes. Recipe Kit offers six layouts and an accent colour you set to match your brand. Cards use your theme's fonts automatically, and you can add custom CSS for advanced styling. Every design works on phones and prints cleanly out of the box.
Does it work with my Shopify theme?
Yes. The recipe card is a theme app block. On Online Store 2.0 themes, one click opens the theme editor with Recipe Kit already added, and you click Save. Older themes need one code snippet instead. Either way, cards use your theme's fonts.
What template layouts are available?
Recipe Kit includes six templates: Hero, Editorial, Classic (banner image on top, stacked sections), Compact (image beside the recipe, dense layout), Card (two-column grid with a border) and Card Vertical (single column with dividers). All use your accent colour and can be restyled with custom CSS.
Can I change templates after creating recipes?
Yes. You can switch templates at any time and all your recipes will update to the new layout. Your content remains unchanged. This lets you experiment with different looks without recreating recipes.
Do recipe cards work on mobile devices?
Yes. All templates adjust to phones, tablets and desktops on their own. Tap targets are sized for fingers, and you can turn on click-to-check for tap-friendly ingredient checkboxes. No separate mobile setup needed.
Can customers print the recipes?
Yes. Every recipe includes a Print button that opens a clean version set for paper. Smart page breaks keep each step and ingredient in one piece. Printed recipes use your accent colour.
