  The software itself is impressively stable in day-to-day use, but at present it lacks built-in support for localization because it doesn’t adhere to Shopify’s Dev recommendations for language functions. As a result, you cannot translate the interface out of the box, which is a significant drawback if you need a multilingual storefront.
  
  Maintaining recipes in the system is also laborious. On numerous occasions, we found that recipes suddenly lost their links to ingredients, forcing us to manually comb through every single recipe entry to repair the connections. This isn’t a one-off glitch—it happens often enough that it disrupts workflow and eats up valuable time.
  
  When we raised this issue with support, we were bluntly told it isn’t currently a priority. In other words, if you don’t mind wrestling with a buggy workflow and spending hours on manual fixes, this software will serve you. Otherwise, be prepared for frustration.

  We're so impressed with Recipe Kit and its superlative customer support. My company sells crafting equipment, and we offer free projects every month. With Recipe Kit, we can link any project's equipment directly to the product page--it's an easy and elegant way to promote sales. Customers can see all the instructions on one screen, then print PDFs or hard copies with step-by-step photos/diagrams.
  
  This developer offers amazing customer service. Patrick quickly helped us customize Recipe Kit so it wouldn't list yarn as an ingredient, for instance.
  
  Recipe Kit will also save us many hours of staff time. Once you've got a Word doc with all the hyperlinks set up, you can copy and paste right into Recipe Kit. It's a much less laborious system than our old one, where we'd carefully format a PDF in InDesign and then link it on a webpage. Recipe Kit does all that formatting work for us!

  After trying multiple recipe card plugins Recipe Kit ended up being my top choice. The pricing is reasonable and the design is very crisp. However, it could use a few more features. For example, a "related recipes" carousel at the bottom of the recipe. I'd like my visitors to explore more of my recipes before bouncing. As well, an "author bio" would be helpful so that guest writers can showcase a photo and a link to their own content.

  This app did a phenomenal job helping us to integrate a large recipe database with this new Shopify store. We had previously used WordPress and had concerns about migrating the existing recipes, as well as presenting nicely on-page (Shopify does not have the robust blog post layout and blogging functions that WP does).   This is a great app which helped me get recipes on our website very easily, and we actually have some recipes being picked up by Google in their rankings. Downsides, are lack of searching capabilities, categorizing capabilities, and the ability to set a more functional layout for the "recipes" blog. Basically everything is stored in a traditional blog format, and that greatly limits the capabilities. I wish there was more functionality to have this app create a design like recipe websites use. All in all, this is a great tool for beginners to get recipes in the proper format for visibility.

  It works great and the developer is very motivated to continuously adding new features, like also adding recipe card to "pages" (currently it will be added to "blog pages"), and a calories calculator and video setting.
  
  One bigger functionality would we hope for, is that the recipe cards could also work with AMP pages (we use AMP by ShopSheriff).
  
  Since Google prefers AMP for mobile pages, it would be very beneficial. But AMP-compatibility is an issue that most apps cannot offer yet.

  I have been looking for a recipe card app for Shopify for years and Recipe Kit finally just fell into my lap. The modern design of the card is just what I wanted and the links and print capabilities are spot-on. I had a few quirky requests for my set-up and Patrick, the Developer, has been incredibly responsive, helpful, and super nice about it all. Not only that, but the app itself is very easy to use.   I have a brand of plant-based natural health supplements. I used this app to improve the look and feel of one of the recipes on my site that incorporates one of my products. It has made a HUGE difference! Easy to use (and i am not a techie by a long shot) and creates a beautiful, clean and professional looking recipe card. I'm going to switch all the recipes on the site to this format. I definitely recommend this app. I had one small question on it and the developer was back to me so quickly. Responsive and totally helpful support . 5 stars.
